LANCASTER — A Berlin man was indicted by a Coos County Superior Court grand jury on charges that he stabbed an individual in the hand and leg with a pair of scissors.

Cory A. Bernard, 40, of 2 Birch St., Berlin was indicted on two counts of first degree assault with a deadly weapon and one count of criminal threatening — deadly weapon. The indictments allege he stabbed the alleged victim in the left hand and left leg the day after Christmas.
