LANCASTER – An investigation is underway after one person was found deceased in a vehicle submerged in the Connecticut River this past weekend.

 On Saturday, Oct. 5,, at approximately 9 a.m., the N.H. State Police Marine Patrol Unit was notified of a vehicle in the river along Route 135 in Lancaster. Officers responded, along with members of the N.H. Fish and Game Department dive team, who located the vehicle and recovered the body of Stephen Paquette, 41, of Littleton. Paquette had been reported missing to the Littleton Police Department on Friday, Oct. 4,  and was reported to have been last seen on Friday, Sept. 27, by family members.
