GORHAM — Gorham Police Chief Adam Marsh reported police checked 250 vehicles at a sobriety checkpoint conducted on Route 16 between Berlin and Gorham on the evening of Thursday, April 20.
The chief said one arrest was made and various citations were issued to operators for a variety of violations as a result of the motor vehicle checks. Marsh said criminal proceedings against the drivers are currently pending though the court system.
