BERLIN — An upcoming September planning board meeting may be of interest, especially for the several residents who spoke in favor of a presentation for a charitable gaming facility at Monday night’s city council meeting. That project is one of four applications expected to be reviewed by the city planning board on Tuesday, Sept. 1, beginning at 6:30 p.m. at city hall.

“If the applications are accepted as complete by the board, a public hearing for each will be held separately that same evening,” according to a notice of the meeting. Public comment is accepted by the planning board near the end of its meeting.
