BERLIN – A Berlin woman was sentenced to serve six to 14 years in state prison for a drunk driving accident on I-93 that resulted in the death of a motorist who had stopped in the breakdown lane to change a flat tire.

Pauline Kochaniec, 48, of Berlin was sentenced in Rockingham County Superior Court last week on charges of negligent homicide, reckless conduct, and aggravated DWI according to the Union Leader newspaper.
