LANCASTER — In recent weeks Coos County 4-H members, volunteers, families and friends have been wrapping up the 2018-19 4-H year with special events.

The annual Coos County 4-H Achievement Ceremony, a time-honored tradition of recognizing outstanding accomplishment and to honor and celebrate everyone who has participated in 4-H, was held at the American Legion Post 17 in Groveton. The ceremony included stories about 4-H experiences in projects, events and opportunities. Additionally, third-year recipient of the Eva Conant Memorial 4-H Scholarship, Amie Weagle of Groveton, was recognized.
