SHELBURNE — The Androscoggin Valley Hospital Auxiliary held its 61st annual meeting on Monday, Oct. 1, with a luncheon at the Town & Country Inn and Resort. AVH Auxiliary President Rolanda Duchesne welcomed more than 40 members and introduced special guests.
Duchesne presented Michael Peterson, FACHE, AVH president, with a check in the amount $25,000 to be used towards the two newly purchased GE Healthcare MAC 5500 ECG Diagnosis Systems. Peterson thanked the auxiliary for their donation and their many contributions made to the hospital over the years. Duchesne noted that the $25,000 was a direct result of funds raised from the annual AVH Auxiliary Golf Tournament. Other fund-raisers throughout the year include the 5K, Book Fairs, Christmas Fair and Christmas Memory Tree.
