LANCASTER — A Weeks Stay at the Mount Washington Observatory presented by Brenda and Preston Conklin, Aug 8, at 7 p.m. at the Great Room of the Summit House Museum at Weeks State Park, 2 miles north of Lancaster.

Brenda and Preston Conklin spent two weeks volunteering atop Mount Washington - one in spring and one in winter. Their presentation will cover the history of the Mount Washington Observatory, as well as the weather and life at the summit. A perk for members of the non-profit Mount Washington Observatory is the opportunity to share the bunkroom lifestyle, as well as cook and clean for the meteorology staff of 8, plus guests.
