Areas that have been found to be in HUB Zone include Coos County (NH), Essex and Orleans (Vt.), and Oxford (Me.). The number of unemployed people or average income in a given area results in being eligible for the HUB program. It is designed to give small businesses in those designated areas an opportunity to seek and obtain orders and bids from the federal government.
