SHELBURNE — A local student volunteer has given his time this summer to mow the lawn of the Shelburne Union Church in Shelburne. Guy Wood Jr.’s father, helped him acquire a John Deere tractor to teach him responsibility, and he used that opportunity to keep the church lawn looking great. In this day and age, having a teenager come forward and offer his services is amazing.

The church is currently in the process of organizing a yard sale to be held on Saturday, Sept. 20, from 9-3 p.m., at the church in the village of Shelburne. Call or text Christine at (603) 991-2407 if you have any items to share or stop by Sunday from 3-5 p.m. to drop off any items.
