ANCHORAGE, AK. - Charles "Chuck" Draper, 62, died May 12, 2008, at home, with his loving family by his side, after a brief, but courageous battle with cancer.

Chuck was born May 26, 1945, in Attleboro, Mass. He graduated from Calais Memorial High School, Calais, in 1963. He joined the U.S. Army 1st Calvary Division and completed engineering school, where he learned to be a crane operator.
