Real Estate Corner: Make it happen

My friend has this incredible ability to simply make things happen. She gets an inkling of an idea and turns it into a reality, sometimes almost immediately. About a month ago, she told me she wanted to sell her house, find some land and put up a prefab home. I asked her the usual questions: Where? How? When? Are you sure that’s what you want to do? I knew last weekend, as she was listing furniture all over Facebook Marketplace, that she’d answered those questions and that her plan was likely already in motion. 

She’s incredible, truly. I am the kind of person who gets completely overwhelmed by even the idea of a project like that, not having any clue where to start. But not her; she mapped it out, start to finish, and away she went. Her first task was to call the Realtor who facilitated the sale when she originally bought the house and she was pleased to learn that they would be able to take on listing the house this time around as well.
