BERLIN — Third-generation hiker Hunter Tupick of Berlin recently completed climbing New Hampshire's 4,000-footers, hiking all 48 peaks in a little over six months and timing his final ascent to coincide with "Flags on the 48."

Tupick completed his quest Sept. 14 atop Bondcliff during a 20-mile hike on the day of the annual “Flags on the 48” event.
