CONCORD — Berlin Elementary School is among 31 schools statewide to a receive a literacy grant from the New Hampshire Department of Education (NHED). 

The city's grade Pre-K through 5 school grant award is $12,842. In all, $652,500 in literacy grants were distributed. The awards ranged from $572 (Hampton Centre School, Hampton) to $827 (Woodsville Elementary School, Haverhill Cooperative) to $75,434 (Harold Martin School, Hopkinton).
