INTERVALE — Believe in Books Youth Theatre has featured the local youth’s talent through many productions since launching three years ago.

The sequel to one of the favorite productions, "Disney’s High School Musical 2 JR.," will be debuting in the beginning of April at the Theater in the Wood in Intervale.

Before the curtains can be raised, auditions are set to take place on Tuesday, Jan. 28, and Wednesday, Jan. 29, at Theater in the Wood.

The gang is back for an action-packed extravaganza as Troy, Gabriella, and the rest of the Wildcats finish junior year and blast onto the summer scene in "Disney’s High School Musical 2 JR."

At the Lava Springs Country Club, popular girl, Sharpay, reigns supreme while the Wildcats get to work — literally.

Featuring every ounce of the light-hearted fun that made High School Musical a household name, this buoyant sequel follows your East High favorites as they face the realities of the adult world and begin to grow up.

Friendships are tested, summer romances go haywire and the meaning of success is redefined.

Jump into the pool with the Wildcats as you swim along with this crowd-pleasing, fun-filled charmer with rockin’ songs and action-packed dance numbers.

With the growing popularity of Believe in Books Youth Theatre productions, all aspiring actors and actresses, between ages 7 and 18, must sign-up for auditions in advance.

Interested parties may sign up by calling the Believe in Books Literacy Foundation’s office at (603) 356-9980 or by emailing Director Nate Sawyer at
