During this time of year, many households look forward to sharing a traditional Thanksgiving turkey dinner with friends and family. For some, that’s where their consideration of the wild turkey ends, besides occasionally coming across a flock of turkeys meandering their way down the road. Yet, there is much more to wild turkeys than meets the eye — or the dinner plate.
