“Lisa Frankenstein,” the macabre blend of horror, comedy and romance, is a dud at the box office taking in about $10 million in its first two weeks of release. Even modestly budgeted at $13 million, it likely won't break even in its theatrical run.

But “Lisa Frankenstein” has cult movie written all over it. Similar to 2009’s “Jennifer’s Body,” screenwriter Diablo Cody’s previous horror comedy, “Liza Frankenstein” will find an audience despite failing to catch on at the box office.
