Majestic Movies: 'The Green Knight' on Friday, Feb. 6

CONWAY — As part of its Gothic winter film series, the Majestic Theatre in Conway Village will host a screening of the 2021 dark fantasy epic, “The Green Knight,” on Friday. The film, shown on the Majestic’s full-size cinema screen, starts at 7 p.m.

Based on the timeless 14th-century Arthurian legend, the film follows Sir Gawain (Dev Patel), King Arthur's headstrong nephew, as he embarks on a perilous quest to confront a mysterious, tree-like giant known as the Green Knight. To prove his honor, Gawain must journey through mythical lands filled with ghosts, giants, and thieves, ultimately facing a challenge that will define his character. The movie’s immersive visual style is both painterly and surreal.
