GORHAM — The base of the Mount Washington Auto Road this weekend resembles a trip back in time as it’s the annual Muster in the Mountains reenactment colonial encampment representing the French and Indian War, Revolutionary War, and Mountain Man periods from 1750 through 1840.

The gathering is taking place Sept. 11-13 in the fields at the base of the Mount Washington Auto Road in Pinkham Notch.
