CONWAY — Bruce Robert Coffin is a retired police detective sergeant with more than 27 years in law enforcement. He has taken those years of experience and funneled them in to a new career, becoming a mystery and thriller writer.

His newest series features Detective Brock Justice of the Maine State Police. Coffin will be at the Pope Memorial Library with the first two books in this series on Saturday starting at 2 p.m.
