CONWAY — Former Kennett High School All-State baseball catcher, Adam Martinese has been named as the sole legal intern in the Boston Red Sox organization for the 2023 season. Kennett High Bullpen Coach David “Doc” Walker shared the news on Thursday about the catcher he affectionately nicknamed “Spanky.”

“Spanky was selected from a long list of applicants, including candidates from Harvard and Northeastern Universities,” Walker said. “He is current a security person at Red Sox Fenway Park for the 2022 season. He will graduate with Honors this semester from Suffolk University Law School in Boston, Mass. with a Juris Doctor degree, and upon completing the state law boards, will be a full time official lawyer.”
