BOZEMAN, Mont. — You can call Grace Castonguay a two-time national champion. The Jackson resident (Saint Michaels College) graduate and U.S. Biathlon Team member successfully defended her title at the 2025 U.S. Biathlon Collegiate National Championship in Bozeman, Mont., on March 27.
In biathlon, competitors race on skis and then attempt to hit five targets — 1.8 inches in diameter, 50 meters (164 feet) away — from a prone position. They then shoot from a standing position at targets that are 4.5 inches in size, and also 50 meters away.
