FRYEBURG — For the first time this season, Fryeburg Academy was on the correct side of a mercy run rule softball victory in the Raiders win over Cape Elizabeth at home on May 26. The girls from Fryeburg scored 11 runs in five innings accumulating eight hits in process to defeat the Capers 11-1.

FA followed that up and closed out the week with a tough 9-4 loss at home to Poland on May 27, but bounced by winning a 13-12 slugfest against St. Domincs last Thursday.
