CONWAY — A terrific season ended a little sooner than any of the Kennett High girls’ basketball team and its supporters had hoped last Tuesday when No. 11 seeded Sanborn knocked the No. 6 Eagles out of the Division II playoffs with a 33-32 preliminary round victory in the Peter Ames Gymnasium.

The final score was identical to a Feb. 10 contest at the Pete, where the Indians hit a last-second three-pointer for a 33-32 win.
