This is an exciting time for Fryeburg Academy’s indoor track team. With every sport there is a learning curve an athlete must go through in order to be successful. In track and field it may be in the body preparation, or in learning how to compete in an actual race or in a field event. Now that vacation is over and the athletes can settle into a daily workout commitment it will be important for runners to vary their workouts to include both distance and sprint work to prepare the cardio-vascular and muscle development necessary to improve in their chosen events.
