GORHAM — Greely shortstop Kyle Soule hit a game-wining double with one out in the bottom of the seventh inning to propel the No. 2 seeded Rangers past No. 8 Fryeburg Academy in the pouring rain at Ed Flaherty Stadium on the campus of the University of Southern Maine last Tuesday night to win the Class B South Regional Final 4-3 in a thriller.

“It was a good game,” said Greg Allain, Raiders’ head coach. “I’m sure it was a darn good game to watch. There was some good baseball played at USM that day.”
