To the editor:
Congratulations to White Mountain Community College on its much needed new licensed practical nursing program. And hurray for New Hampshire.
Now, how about an article in The Conway Daily Sun about the wages these new LPN’s can expect when they graduate? How about benefits?
As demand grows for these valuable positions, can we expect these folks to stay in the field and relieve the current shortage? Do N.H’.s Medicaid rates enable nursing homes and home care agencies to pay a living wage?
Families and senior citizens would like to know. Thank you.
