The Moat Mountain Smokey Quartz Loop is a bit like a credit card. In the beginning there is the thrill of instant, total satisfaction. But after the gratification, it's pay back time. There are those riders who may find paying back to be a small task. 

However, there are those who may find the 1.2-mile climb known as payback to be long, arduous and demanding.
