Sometimes the most fun kayak choices are right in our own back yard. Such is the case with Lake Chocorua.

Located on Route 16 south of Conway, many of us drive by it on our way south and then north again. I love driving to the top of the hill when heading north and seeing that beautiful lake and the gorgeous mountain that looms over it’s northern shore. I have said it before and will say it here, Mount Chocorua can be seen from nearly every pond and lake in the Mount Washington Valley. When viewed from Lake Chocorua it is truly a dynamic and beautiful sight.
