Clemons Pond

For those looking for an out of the way Maine paddle, Clemons Pond  in Hiram, Maine is just for you. Finding it can be a little tricky, but well worth the effort. The pond itself is pretty standard. Sitting amid small hills and mountains, it has a number of camps and year ‘round homes on its banks. When I first arrived I thought to myself, “okay, your usual round pond, nice size but maybe too many camps around to make it feel remote and peaceful. I was wrong.
