I’m not sure we give Jack Nicklaus enough love when it comes to his impact on the game. The Golden Bear is 84 years old, turned pro in 1961 and is still one of the faces of the game in my book. According to Wikipedia, “he is widely considered to be either the greatest or one of the greatest golfers of all time. He won 117 professional tournaments in his career.”

Nicklaus still holds the record for most majors won at 18. He won the Masters Tournament six times (1963, 1965, 1966, 1972, 1975 and 1986); the U.S. Open four times (1962, 1967, 1972 and 1980); the Professional Golfers’ Association of America (PGA) Championship five times (1963, 1971, 1973, 1975 and 1980); and the British Open (Open Championship) three times (1966, 1970 and 1978).
