North Country Angling: Return to an old haunt

It is interesting how many people do not know that the White Mountain National Forest crosses over into Maine. Not just the Evans Notch area but a section that contains several waters managed by Maine Inland Fisheries for trout. Specifically brook trout.

This angler learned about these waters when Maine put out a press release talking about the great results of these ponds being reclaimed and that some of the ponds were producing ponds that grew brook trout measured in pounds not inches. The search for information started on the Maine Inland Fisheries website.
