Conway selectmen recently gave their recommendation to a petitioned warrant article presented to the board by a representative of Bedford business owner Dick Anagnost. Anagnost plans to open a Greek restaurant and sports bar in Conway called Filotimo that will have sports betting. Anagnost already operates Filotimo betting parlors in Dover and Manchester in conjunction with the state-run Draft King Sportsbook. Meanwhile, a petitioned article to bring keno to town did not get a thumbs-up from the board as voters have shot down the same idea multiple times already.
