To the editor:I came into town today only to see a building that looks like the toilet facilities at Fryeburg Fair. I could not believe this was happening. I used to come into town and I would see Conway's honor roll steadfast in memory of our veterans, Old Glory proudly waving and, at night, she waved proudly with the light below showing us we are still fighting for our freedom. Many of us worked hard to show our veterans that we care and are proud of what they stand for. Many sacrificed their lives and now you would not even know they are there. Perhaps there are people who have never been touched by a war and just don't care. I believe there was an alternative, but this was just another "Kennett High School needs to be replaced" ploy. Please don't destroy what we have left.
