• Local historian Carl E. Lindblade of Stow, Maine, is giving talks every Saturday in July on “The Bretton Woods Conference: A Hotel Goes to Peace not War,” at the Omni Mount Washington Resort at Bretton Woods in conjuction with the 80th anniversary of the economic conference that set the stage for the post-World War II economy.
