CONWAY — During a visit to North Conway last Thursday, U.S. Sen. Jeanne Shaheen (D-N.H.) sat down with the Sun to discuss what she said will be the negative backlash to President Donald Trump’s recent focus on the Danish territory of Greenland.
Shaheen, who is the ranking member on the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, had spent the earlier part of the week in Copenhagen, Denmark, traveling there with a 11-member bipartisan congressional delegation before Trump backed off his threats to take over Greenland.
