BARTLETT — A YouTube star charged with the attempted murder of a Bartlett police officer asked a Superior Court judge Friday to release him from jail, saying medications have stabilized his mental health.
However, Carroll County Attorney Keith Blair said Erik Conover, 35, of New York City, should remain in jail and still poses a danger to the community. The prosecutor cited drone footage allegedly showing Conover trying to run over Officer Cameron Emmett with his Jeep.
