CONWAY — The Mount Washington Valley has long been known as a mecca for hiking, skiing, shopping ... but writing? Except for such publishing phenoms as Lisa Gardner and Tom Ryan, both of Jackson, and ski chroniclers Tom Eastman and Marty Basch, both of Conway, not so much.

Add to that the fact that our neighbors to the west — Peterborough, with its MacDowell Colony, and the Vermont Studio Center in Johnson, Vt. — seem to have a lock on intellectual pursuits, and some may feel the valley’s creative well has run dry.

This is great! Thank you so much for sharing my new book, "Stuey & Veronica," with the nice people of NH. I neglected to tell readers how to get a copy and support dog rescue: www.roxysforeverhome.com
