OSSIPEE — A Tamworth man who was sentenced to a year in jail on a domestic violence conviction unloaded a series of accusations against the department of corrections at a Carroll County Superior Court hearing Thursday. His lawyer said incarceration could be a "death sentence."

Terrance Perkins, 72, was found guilty Oct. 23 of the two felony charges in Carroll County Superior Court.
