CONWAY — Four longtime educators — Steve Bamsey, a fifth-grade teacher at Mountainside Intermediate School; Sara Horan, a teacher at Kennett Middle School; Colleen Hill, an English teacher at Kennett High School; and Kristen Carey, a language arts teacher at Kennett Middle School — have applied for and were granted early retirement.

The Conway School Board voted unanimously to accept three retirements, but board member Randy Davison balked at granting Carey’s request.

Retire at 55 and get paid? Those of us in the private sector must wait until 62…that’s lucrative!!!!

No wonder why taxes go up !!
