MADISON — Lifelong Madison resident Ruth Shackford, at “96 years young,” received the Silver Lake Women’s Club cane at her Silver Lake home surrounded by a small group of friends and family last Friday.
Madison Selectman John Arruda presented the honorary cane with a certificate, and Town Clerk Mike Brooks was on hand to offer more congratulations from the town.
