Albany woman seeks funds

ALBANY — A local woman whose adult daughter was in a devastating car accident while stationed at a North Carolina Army base, is reaching out to the community for prayers and financial assistance during her daughter's recovery.

Sandy Stowell of Albany told the Sun her daughter, Lisa Horne, 50, was severely injured this past spring when she was struck by a truck while driving her motorcycle in Fayetteville, N.C. At the time of the accident, Horne was an Army intelligence officer and assigned to the 82nd Airborne Division Combat Aviation Brigade.
