CONWAY — A vacation home at 172 Timber Shore Drive off East Conway Road was damaged by fire last Friday night, said Redstone Fire Chief Neil Henry, adding that firefighters responded quickly to the scene.

No one was at home, but a neighbor saw smoke and heard fire alarms going off, said Henry by phone Monday. The first tone was at 6:52 p.m. and firefighters arrived at 6:55 p.m., he said, adding the fire was knocked down by about 7:11 p.m.
