CONWAY — An estimated 800 people turned out at Tuckerman Brewing Co. in Conway Village on Sunday afternoon to cheer on Democratic presidential hopeful Bernie Sanders. The 78-year-old senator from Vermont has been riding high in the polls and reporting a whopping $24 million in donations in the second quarter.
He spoke for approximately 45 minutes at the campaign stop at Tuckerman’s.
