CONWAY — One of two community members on the 14-member Superintendent Search Committee said he thinks the community should have a bigger say in who replaces the retiring school superintendent, Kevin Richard, who is stepping down next month.
The majority of the search committee is made up of SAU 9 officials or employees: Nancy Kelemen (chair) and Emily Calderwood of the Bartlett School Board (chair); Amy Snow, Mike DiGregorio and Randy Davison of the Conway School Board; Curtis Coleman of the Albany School Board; Sue Perry of the Chatham School Board; SAU 9 Director of Special Services Pam Stimpson; Principal Danielle Nutting of John H. Fuller Elementary; Chris Bailey from the teachers union; Jerry Dougherty of the Jackson School Board; Susan Wiley of the Eaton School Board. The two community members are Mark Guerringue of Conway and Gail Prelli of Bartlett.
