Blue Frog grass

This Green Frog has some sort of condition that turned it blue. Albany resident Emmy Ranson found it in a marsh near her home recently. (EMMY RANSON PHOTO)

ALBANY — A frog with a blue tinge was found in a marsh by a local resident, and a N.H. Department of Fish and Game biologist has taken interest in it.

Reader Emmy Ranson shared photos of the unusually hued frog with the Sun on July 17. She said she found it in a marsh off Route 16 behind her home in Albany. She said she has read articles about blue frogs being found in states like Ohio and Indiana and wanted to share her find with the Sun.
