Justin Chaffee, a local tennis player and screenwriter, discusses his latest movie, "Pickleball," an independent slapstick comedy now on Prime Video. The film features Kevin Farley and follows two brothers trying to save a community center through a pickleball tournament. Chaffee, who studied philosophy and gained experience through script coverages, collaborated with co-writer J.D. Walters and director Jeff Hamm. The movie was filmed at the Oasis Pickleball Club in Texas and had a budget around $500,000. Chaffee also mentions his previous film, "Grumpy Old Santa," and future projects, including a biblical script and a sci-fi thriller trilogy.
