CONWAY — HAPPY MLK Jr. Weekend — and thanks to our snowmakers for laying down the great cover, taking advantage of these cold enough temperatures to add to what so far has been a skimpy natural snowfall base this season.

Speaking of which, according to Brian Fitzgerald, director of education for the Mount Washington Observatory, we’ve gotten 23 inches of snow so far this season compared with the 30-year average of 31.7 inches with just 1.5 so far in January compared to the 30-year average of 20.1 inches.
