Celebrate Maine Maple Weekend at Nate and Kate’s Maple at 2102 Green Hill Road in Chatham on Saturday and Sunday, March 23 and 24, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. They will be boiling sap, offering tours of the sugar shack and serving maple creamees (maple-flavored soft serve). Their friends from Sherman Farm will be there with tasty maple treats, and the Chatham Historical Society will be on site as well, selling hot dogs and chili.

Weston’s Farm on River Road will celebrate its 35th annual open house in celebration of Maine Maple Sunday on March 24 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. There will be demonstrations and tours, and their farm market and gift shop will be open. Be sure to stop by to enjoy free samples of maple syrup on ice cream.
