Out of my west facing window there is a truly magnificent and towering maple tree that overlooks the Mud Bowl coliseum which is still resplendent in its glowing color — yellows, oranges and reds abound to take your breath away. What a wonderful view and setting we enjoy.
One of the highlights of the new North Conway Community Center is how we are an integral part of a new campus-like “quad” of non-profit and public facilities located just to the south of Schouler Park. Anchored by the wonderful and revered North Conway Country Club, we share proximity with our good friends at the North Conway Fire Station, as well as the New England Ski Museum, the newest arrival in town. Just across the street is the Gibson Center where valley seniors and thrifty shoppers can always find something going on and, of course, Vaughan Community Services is just down the street. More and more North Conway has once again become a welcoming pedestrian village with lots to see and do without needing a car. And we are glad to be right here in the midst of it all even as so much of the world around us is changing.
